Trying to get a college degree

shouldn’t be this hard. But who the eff am I kidding? This has never been handed to me (and so many folks like me) on a silver platter and I will be the first in my family to get a degree.

Breathing in and out.

The college is making it near impossible to even go back. I am on academic probation for getting sick in the middle of a semester a couple of years ago.

Yeah. For reals. Like I could have stopped myself from almost dying.

Have to sign a contract and make a counseling appointment but counselors won’t be there until a week from now and they don’t make appointments by phone?? You must walk in to get an appointment date. And I don’t live near that school but I have to get shit right there in order to have my transcripts and records set straight.

I had to re-register as well as if I’ve never been there.

Today was tough.

Sorry if any of you are bothered that this blog has been way more personal as of late. I’ve needed vent space.
